How to open the Cuez Prompter
To open and use the Cuez Prompter, open your Episode and click 'Prompter' in the top right corner. A window will appear, showing you a link that you can copy. In a new tab, or on a different device that you want to use as the Prompter output, paste this link to open the Prompter view of your Episode.
From there, you can configure the Prompter to your liking, meaning that you can configure which Blocks to display, the font size, whether or not it should be mirrored, adjust scroll speeds and more. More on that in this Help Center article.
How to control the Cuez Prompter
The Prompter can be controlled in multiple ways: using a keyboard (keyboard shortcuts), a presenter or a ShuttleXpress jog wheel.
Using a keyboard
Spacebar: start/stop scrolling at predefined speed
B: start/stop scrolling at predefined speed
D: go back to the top of the Episode
S: go back to the top of the Episode
L: get an overview of all Parts & Items as a shortcut to navigate from one to the other
Arrow left/right/up/down: navigate between Blocks in the Episode
Esc (escape): make the screen black
These keyboard shortcuts can also be programmed on a Stream Deck for example.
Using a ShuttleXpress jog wheel
First make sure to install the ShuttleXpress and connect it to the Cuez Prompter. Next, verify and adjust your scroll speeds as needed. You can then use the ShuttleXpress' jog wheel to use the different scroll speeds.
