Learn how to use UNO with the Cuez Automator

Updated over a week ago

What is UNO (by Singular.live)?

UNO helps democratizing live graphics. Customize any of the hundreds of pre-built live overlay templates and get on-air fast. No downloading, no hassle. It’s the fastest, simplest way to add live customizable overlays to your stream.

More information on their website.

Adding UNO to the Automator

In the top right corner of the Automator, we see 'Devices' - this can be either in red or green depending on the status of the configured devices. Click it and select 'Add device'.

Seeing that UNO works in the same way as SingularLive, select 'SingularLive' from the 'Device type' dropdown list, then give it a name.

To finalise our UNO configuration so it can be used with the Automator, we will need the token. Find your token and copy it. Next, paste the token into the Cuez Automator configuration and click outside of the field. The UNO 'device' will now show as 'Online' in green, meaning it is ready to be used with the Cuez Automator.

Where to find your UNO token

To find your token in UNO, open the UNO 'Overlay' you want to use with the Cuez Automator, then go to the key icon in the top right corner of the screen. Click this icon to copy the UNO token for this overlay.

Configuring actions

The next step is then to configure each Item and Block configuration with the (set of) functions you want to perform on UNO (or a combination of UNO and for example vMix) when triggering the Item or Block - more on that in this article.
