What are Publishing Points?

Learn about Publishing Points and how you can use them to publish your (sub) stories to different outputs

Updated over a week ago

When stories are created in your News Desk, sub stories can then be created for different Publishing Points. These can be your website, certain social media platforms, other outputs via webhooks, and of course also your Episodes in Cuez.

When a sub story is created in a Publishing Point, the 'main' story on the News Desk will show an icon to indicate that a sub story exists for a given Publishing Point, allowing you to easily spot which and how many sub stories exist for a 'main' story.

How can I create a (new) Publishing point?

Starting from your News Desk in Storiez, a button will be available on the right part of the screen, allowing you to navigate to the Settings where Publishing Points can be created.

Alternatively, you can go directly to the Settings via the gear icon in the top right corner, where you can then create Publishing Points as well

Which Publishing Points can be created?

As mentioned above, multiple types of Publishing Points are available. You can create one for your (news) website, one for different social media platforms, you can create a webhook publishing point, and you can create a Publishing Point to Cuez.

Each Publishing Point has its own specific settings, such as name, description, style (color), and the more technical configuration to make it possible for Storiez to publish to the Publishing Point.

For more information about each of the available Publishing Points, see our separate Help Center Article Collection about Publishing Points.
