Treat

A limited term (< 24 hour) addition of a special medium, small molecules or growth inhibitors applied to adherent or suspension cells to affect some change.

The Treat action can be used in conjunction with a Feed action or as a stand alone action. As an example, a treat could be a base media with a growth factor, small molecule or other factor that is applied in a similar fashion as Feed, or it can be a added to the culture in a smaller volume in addition to the Feed action. The Treat action continues the vessels in the action group, does not require new vessels, nor does in create a new Culture Track.
