Descriptions

Add new Material while editing a Protocol Template has been removed (Design Improvements, #384): In previous versions, it was possible to Add new Materials to the Material Library while in the process of editing a Protocol Template. This often caused users to get lost in an increasing cascade of editing and selection pages, and caused frequent database issues (duplicate material records, incomplete material records, etc.) as users navigate back to the Protocol Editor page. For simplicity, this feature has been suppressed. Starting in v2.1.2, Materials can only be added through the the Material Library.

Navigator linking errors for Culture Tracks with successive passages (Bug Fixes, #379): When conducting multiple passages with same Culture Track, errors would occur with the Navigator Linking feature (green highlight around related Culture Tracks). This issue has been resolved in v2.1.2.

Not possible to change Protocol Template during a Passage Action (Bug Fixes, #382): Historically, it has always been possible to change the Protocol Template for a new Culture Track that is spawned by a Passage Action. This provides an efficient alternative to the Move Action, as it can be completed directly within the passage process. This critical functionality was broken during the introduction of the CultureTrax Navigator (v2.0.0), but has now been restored.

Broken navigation and auto-filters when selecting Materials for Staring Vessels (Bug Fixes, #383): When specifying materials for a Starting Vessel during New Culture Track Creation, the 'Return to Previous' and 'Cancel' controls in the Material Library page were not working properly. Also, there was an auto-filter applied to the Materials List that only showed Coated Vessels. These controls have been fixed, and the auto-filter has been removed.

Invalid Vessel reference on first Passage after Thaw Action (Known Issues, #385): When conducing the first Passage Action on a Culture Track that started from cryopreserved cells, an invalid Vessel reference will appear Action details page for the Passage Action, in the list of Vessels included in the New Culture Track (Culture Track created via the Passage Action). This reference will have the same name and configuration as the Starting Vessel used for the Passage Action. This invalid reference can be eliminated by clicking the 'Back to Previous' button or the 'Cancel' button, and then returning to the Actions details screen again. If you try to 'Save Action details' with this invalid reference present, you will be returned to the Daily Actions view, and you will need to return the Action details page and reenter the details for the Passage Action again. The second time you open the Action details screen, the invalid vessel reference will disappear.
