CultureTrax v3.6.5 Release Notes

We are thrilled to announce the release of CultureTrax version 3.6.5. This update mainly focuses on infrastructure maintenance and upgrades that are necessary to the continued function of the platform. We do have one client facing feature designed to bolster the security of your CultureTrax site.

New Feature

Failed Login Lockout

Three failed attempts at logging into a CultureTrax account will automatically deactivate the user’s account and an email will be sent to the PI/Director and all Administrators in the lab notifying them of the lockout. The account can be re-activated in the 'Manage my lab group' admin tab. Simply select the account, click edit and check the 'Active' box, then save. If the account was deactivated as the result of an outside attempt to gain access to the lab, please contact CultureTrax staff immediately. We will trace the IP address and take steps to prevent future attempts.
