Request a new password via the web
This method only works if you have a website system from Cup Manager.
Go to your tournament website, (it usually has an address in the format http://tournamentname.cupmanager.net)
Go to the bottom of the page, click Log in
In the login box that appears, fill in your email address.
Then click on the link Forgot password? Click here.
Type in your email adress and click Reset.
An email with instructions will now be sent to you. Follow them.
Request a new password via the Cup Manager program
Cup Manager is a program that you download and install on your computer.
Start the Cup Manager program.
In the login box, enter your email address in the Username field.
Click on Forgot your password?
Select Send.
An email with instructions will now be sent to you. Follow them.
Change your password in the program
If you wish to change your password, you can do so from the program when you are logged in to a tournament.
Click the pink Shut Down button in the upper right corner.
From the menu, select Change Password
Enter your new desired password in the password fields and click OK. Done!
Good to know about passwords in Cup Manager
If you use the Cup Manager website system, the password for the Cup Manager program is the same as for the website.
It is the same password for all tournaments that are linked to the same email address. If you have multiple tournaments, you change the password for all of them.
Do you travel to other tournaments that use Cup Manager? If you register with the same email address that you have linked to your tournaments where you are the tournament administrator, you use the same password to edit your registration there, as when you log in to the program for your own tournament - the password is therefore linked to your email address in all situations in the system.
