Proposal expiration is a feature that allows you to set a date by which a customer must accept their proposal. Once that expiration date passes, the proposal is no longer valid.

Why It Matters

  • Protects your pricing β€” Floral costs change often. Expiration dates help ensure that customers don’t come back months later expecting the same pricing.

  • Creates urgency β€” It encourages clients to make timely decisions rather than delaying indefinitely.

  • Keeps your pipeline clean β€” You can quickly see which proposals are still active and which need follow-up or updates.

How It Works

  • When sending a proposal through Curate, you can set an expiration date.

  • After the expiration date, clients will see that the proposal has expired and will need to reach out for an updated version.

  • You can always extend or update the proposal if you choose.

How To Setup an Expiration Date

  • Click into an event and look to the left sidebar.

  • Locate and click Overview from the Quick Access section

  • The Overview sidebar will appear. Scroll down on the Details tab and locate the Portal Expiration option. From here you may click into calendar option to select a date. Proposals will expire at 11:59PM on the selected date. Please note that you may come back and change this date at anytime!
