Changing the default tax rate on an event
Making a change to the tax rate through the previous steps will not change the information of any current or past events. We do this to prevent issues later on with reporting past events. If you need to edit tax rates to an event that already exists you will need to perform the change within the event. Here's the steps to do this:
Navigate to the event from your main events page and click into it. Navigate to the Workroom of the event.
Scroll down to the Proposal Details section or click the Orders tab across the top of the workroom page.
If you would like to change the tax rate for the entire event, locate the Grand Total at the bottom of the orders section. If you have line items with prices you will have access to a pencil icon that you may click to edit the current tax rate.
If you would like to change the tax rate for an individual line item, locate it on the list and click into the current tax rate to make a change.
