Summary

If you're unable to use one of our integrated payment solutions, you may include a link to an alternate payment processor within the event. Where you place the link is up to you, but the most common location is either with the contract section of an event or the description box located under the People & Vendors section.

How you obtain a static payment link will be different from company to company. Here's a few examples:

Cash App

Cash App automatically creates a sharable URL based on your $cashtag. To see what your $cashtag is, log into the service and visit the settings page. Once you know the tag, you can use the following URL and replace the $yourcashtag portion of the link. https://cash.app/$yourcashtag

Clover

  • Log in to your Clover Dashboard account

  • On the left menu, scroll to the bottom and select Account & Setup

  • Under Account & Setup, select Payment Links in the Ecommerce section

  • Click the Create New pull down in the top right corner, and select “QR Code”

  • Create a name, payment amount, optional label, and choose whether you want to include your company logo

Paypal

Paypal requires you to sign up for a PayPal.Me account. Once setup, you will have access to a static link that looks like the following: https://paypal.me/usernameyouselected

Square

Log into your Square account. On the Dashboard page, locate Payments -> Payment Links from the left sidebar. This will load the Payment Links page.

Once the Payment Links page has loaded, locate and click Create Link on the top right corner of the page.

The next screen will ask questions about the purpose of the link. You can select the best option for you. In my example, I selected the Take a Payment and clicked Continue.

On the next screen fill in the Details Title box and set the amount to Any Amount. The rest of the options are optional.

Click the Save button on the top right corner to continue. Next a pop up box will appear with a static payment link along with some other options. Copy the link so you can add it to your event! The link will look similar to this: https://square.link/u/123abcxyz
