Templates - Email

Summary

Having a solid plan for communication is key when it comes to building out your events within the Curate experience. Making use of our Email template feature will help you with solid and consistent messaging across your customer base. Email templates can be used in a number of different ways such as responding to inquiries, sending out the initial event for the customer to look over to payment reminders.

Navigation

Email templates are now accessed from the Templates page:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Templates.

  2. On the Templates page, click Email from the template type options.

    • This page shows a list of your existing email templates and lets you create new ones.

Creating an Email Template

  1. On the Email Templates tab, click + New template in the top right corner.

  2. Select Email template.

  3. Fill in the template details:

    • Template Name: A clear name so you can easily identify the email later.

    • Email Subject: The subject line your client will see.

    • Email Content: The message body β€” you can use tokens to personalize the email.

    • Email Preview : See how your email will look as you type.

  4. When finished, click Create in the top right corner to save.

Editing a Current Email Template

  1. Navigate to the Email Templates page and click on the name of the template that you would like to edit or test.

  2. For editing, this is all that's required as you can begin making changes right away.

  3. Once completed, don't forget to click the Save button on the top right corner!

How To Send A Test Email

  1. Navigate to the Email Templates page and click on the name of the template that you would like to test.

  2. Once loaded, you'll have a button on the top right corner of the screen that you can click.

  3. Once clicked you'll get a confirmation in the bottom left corner.

  4. Here's an example of what the test email will look like.

How To Delete An Email Template

  1. Navigate to the Email Templates page and locate the name of the template that you would like to delete.

  2. Locate and click the ... on the same line to access the Delete button. Click the Delete button.


Tips for Email Templates

  • Name clearly: Use descriptive names like Proposal Delivery β€” Floral or Payment Reminder β€” 7 Days.

  • Use tokens: Personalize your messages with dynamic fields (e.g., customer first name, event date) for better engagement.

  • Test before sending: Make sure formatting, links, and content look right with a test email.
