Surprises are fun, bill surprises are not. We keep you posted about upcoming payments, changes to your bills, and more.

What types of alerts does Cushion send?

Cushion sends alerts to notify you about:

  • Deposits into your bank account to let you know when it's payday

  • Next day payment reminders so you never miss a payment

  • Successful bill payments to confirm that your bill was paid

  • Weekly summaries to monitor your expenses for bills, recurring charges, active BNPL loans, and upcoming due dates for bills

How does Cushion send me alerts?

We send them through email, text and/or our newly released push notifications. Of course, all of these notifications are optional and you can customize the notifications you receive in the Profile tab under 'Settings'.

We encourage you to enable push notifications so you can stay up-to-date on your bills and subscriptions.

How do I enable push notifications?

It's a simple process that can only be done from your cell phone! In your dashboard under 'Profile', scroll down to Settings and toggle on Push Notifications. Then, a window from your phone will pop up that confirms Cushion can send notifications. It should look something like this:

Tap 'Allow' and that's it!

What are Next Day Payment Reminders and how do I enable them?

Next day payment reminders are notifications you can receive the day before a bill is due so you're never caught off guard by any payments. It's easy to enable! All you have to do is tap on the bill in your dashboard. From here, tap the toggle to turn on the reminders and you're all set! We'll notify you via push notifications.
