The Sidekick USB A port can be used for a wide variety of external USB-powered devices. We have listed some devices in our reference document, but you may try other devices that meet the requirements:
Sidekick allows up to 1A power for the USB port. Do not attempt to use a USB device that requires more than 1A of power.
If the device has a power switch, it must be able to stay in the on position. If you can plug in the device to a USB wall plug and it immediately turns on, it should work with Sidekick.
Do not plug in a USB splitter or hub to attempt to use multiple USB devices. If you wish to use multiple USB devices, you can attach multiple Sidekicks together.
