Here's a quick rundown of where you can drive with a Cuvva policy:
The United Kingdom and its Crown Dependencies – England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands
EU countries – Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia (Czech Republic), Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
Other countries - You can also drive in Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, and Switzerland. Depending on your policy you may also be able to drive in Bosnia and Montenegro. You can check in your policy documents.
Here's what you need to know about driving outside the UK 👇
Start and end location
Your policy must begin and end in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland). This means you need to make sure your policy is long enough for you to drive to Europe and back again. Otherwise you might end up stranded outside the UK with no cover.
Just so you know, this includes driving from Northern Ireland into the Republic of Ireland. Make sure you are back in Northern Ireland (or in England, Scotland, or Wales) by the time your policy ends.
European cover
While driving in the UK, your Cuvva policy will always by fully comprehensive. While driving in Europe, however, your policy will include the minimum legal level of cover. This is usually third-party only, which means it covers:
Damage or injury to others
But not damage to your own vehicle
It's worth noting that this is also the case when driving from Northern Ireland into the Republic of Ireland. In other words, when you start a policy in Northern Ireland it will be fully comprehensive, but when you drive across the border into the Republic of Ireland it will become third-party only.
And just so you know: as of August 2, 2021, UK drivers no longer need a Green Card to drive in Europe.

We cover: Driving licences issued in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, as well as full driving licences issued in most EU countries, and Switzerland
We don’t cover: Licences issued in the Isle of Man or Channel Islands, and licences from countries not mentioned in the list above
