Who can we cover and what restrictions are there?

We have worked hard with our underwriter to offer insurance to as many people as possible. The minimum age to use Cuvva for the first time is:

  • 17 for provisional drivers

  • 19 for full licence drivers (although if you're under 21, you'll need to have held your licence for 12 months with no at-fault claims)

The maximum age to use Cuvva for the first time is:

  • Under 70 for full licence holders for cars

  • Under 65 for full licence holders's first van policy

  • Under 40 for provisional licence drivers.

You can use Cuvva with:

  • A driving licence issued in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland)

  • A full licence issued in most EU countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden)

  • A full licence issued in: Switzerland.
