Buying your next gun online with DACK Outdoors couldn't be easier! Here is the process:

  1. Choose your gun(s) on our website and proceed to the checkout once you have everything you want in your cart.

  2. During the checkout, enter your shipping information. This is not where we will send your gun, but it will help you select a dealer to pickup your firearm(s) from in the next step.

  3. Proceed to the "FFL" section of the checkout. You should see a list of dealers near your address. Select the dealer you want your firearm(s) sent to, and proceed to submitting your order.

PLEASE NOTE: After submitting your order, please have your selected dealer email us a copy of their FFL to: ffl@dackoutdoors.com with your name and/or order number in the subject or body of the email.

Illinois Residents: You'll also need to email us a copy of your FOID to: sales@dackoutdoors.com

Buying Guns Online FAQ:

What is an FFL?

An FFL is a Federal Firearms License. The ATF requires that all new firearm sales customers pass a federal background check before taking possession of the firearm. Only dealers with a valid FFL may conduct these background checks. So, for our out-of-state customers, we must ship all firearm orders to a valid FFL where you can complete your background check.

Do I need to contact my local FFL before purchase?

Although not a requirement, we do recommend you contact your local dealer to make sure they will accept the transfer for you. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure their selected dealer accepts firearm transfers.

Will you get my dealer's FFL for me?

Because of the massive volume of orders we receive daily, we are unable to contact your local dealer for you to get their FFL.
