We are often asked about specific medical conditions and ways to address them during the D9 programme. We would really like to help with this but it is important to note that the best advice you can get in these situations is from a qualified medical professional.  Before providing any treatment, they will need to be aware of your specific facts, medical history, symptoms and have had a chance to carry out a physical examination.

If you do consult them, please check if you need to make any changes to your D9 foods as a result of their diagnosis and/or prescribed medication.

Some of the situations we have been asked about are below. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list.  If you are unsure, consult a medical professional. The problem will not go away by itself.

  • GERD / acid reflux

  • Digestive distress/bloating etc

  • Joint pains (neck, back, knee etc)

  • Diabetes

  • Hypertension

  • Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

  • Problems around the menstrual cycle

  • Hypothyroidism

  • Kidney issues

  • Bone problems, like Osteopenia

  • Menopause

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

  • Cardiovascular (heart) issues
