Self-care action #1: Show up

Start your self-care plan by doing something simple. What’s that?


That’s it.

Every day, open up the D9 App and re-commit to the Daily9. More importantly, re-commit to this goal you’ve set yourself of better health. This is what you will do:

  • Simply just open the app, and then take a moment for yourself.

  • Set a mini-goal for yourself for the day.

  • Start your morning this way and give yourself a high-five. Yes! Give yourself a pat on the back for showing up.

  • And every night, check-in i.e., answer your All9/D3 questions. It’s ok if you did not do well. Be kind to yourself. You’ve embarked on a path, it’s ok to slip up. Just get into the habit of showing up and answering daily. That’s part of the commitment.

So for the first 15 days, and thereafter regularly, you will get into in the habit of showing up and reminding yourself of why you started this journey in the first place.

A tip: Put this in your calendar. Yes, the app will remind you, but if you miss it or use a calendar regularly, add a reminder in the calendar too, say between 9-9.15 pm every night, and then answer your check-in when the alarm goes off.
