Grab a pen and paper or your journal.

Write down one thing that you like about yourself. It need not be something big. In fact, smaller and more specific works better.

Maybe you have really neat handwriting. Or make great scrambled eggs. Perhaps you have a lovely smile. Or you turn off the lights whenever you leave a room. You tidy things up everyday.

Whatever it is, pick one thing a day and write it down. Use a real piece of paper and a real pen, not just think about it in your mind.

That’s it.

Remember, it would be great if you can carry forward some of the other self-care actions that you have been trying and that you think are working for you. And always: keep showing up!
