Once you have created your Review Panels and assigned them to the correct Project, you should then set the correct settings.

How to Setup

Follow these steps to configure the rules and settings:

  1. Head to Team Settings > Projects

  2. Select the required Project > Reviews

  3. Overview - In the overview section, select the Review Panel option and select the panel you would like to assign to this Project. Please note you need to create a panel first before you try and assign one here. You will see the amount of available panels to choose from.

  4. Stages - Next, select the Stage(s) you would like this review panel to be assigned to. Please note, if no Stages are set, this panel will be default set to ALL stages.

  5. Guidance - Set the guidance. This will display to the reviewers, reminding them of what criteria they are looking for to assess this work.

  6. Feedback - Set the different feedback options. See below for more info on this.

Setting up your Feedback

Setting up the different criteria for how submissions should be evaluated is crucial to the review process. Here are the different options:

  • Number of Reviews - Set your minimum and maximum number of reviews required for each submission. If you have a review team of 10 judges, for example, you may only need 5 reviews to make an informed decision on the submission, so you'd set the minimum to 5. Once 5 reviews have been received, the review process will be marked as complete. Alternatively, you may want to limit the number of submissions you receive and can therefore set the maximum amount e.g 8 submissions.

  • Numeric Rating - When enabled, your reviewers will be able to input a numeric score for this submission. You can set both a minimum and a maximum number here.

  • Voting Options - When enabled, your reviewers will be able to vote. There are yes and no options created by default; however, you can add your own here and customise accordingly. For example, you might want to add "unsure", "undecided" or "maybe" as extra options.

  • Comments - When enabled, your reviewers will be able to add their own comments for additional feedback and context. Give the section a title and add some instructions on the type of comments you would like to receive.
