We are excited to announce that we have many new large format prints on the new version of Darkroom! The size of the print you can offer depends on two things:
1. pixel dimensions
2. ppi of the photo.
Here is a pixel chart to achieve high quality prints:
Print Size | Pixel Dimension @250 ppi |
8x10 | 2000x2500 |
8x12 | 2000x3000 |
11x14 | 2750x3500 |
16x20 | 4000x5000 |
20x24 | 5000x6000 |
24x30 | 6000x7500 |
30x40 | 7500x10000 |
Note: You can still offer many of these sized prints with smaller pixel ratios and lower dpi's but we recommend at least hitting these thresholds. Most photo editing software will allow you to alter the ppi of your photos, this is called resampling.
We have added many more larger format printing options up to 50x75 and will continue to add these larger sizes. Please also note that these prints are more expensive to print as they will come in a drilled tight crate due to their fragility and size.
