How to change a fault status in Gearbelt

Learn how to update your faults' status in Gearbelt

With form submissions in Gearbelt, your team can create fault reports for you to review and schedule repairs.

To update a fault status, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Faults section

2. Click on the fault record you want to update

3. Click on the Status field in the fault details

4.Select the new fault status

5. Click the 'Save' button in the bottom right corner of the pane

Note:

  • Fault records have four available statuses:

    • New

    • Pending

    • Closed

    • Void

  • Once a fault status is changed to Closed or Void, the record cannot be reopened
