To stay on top of your asset services, Gearbelt allows you to set up schedule notifications, so you’ll receive alerts when assets are due or overdue for their next service

To create schedule notifications, follow these steps:

1. Go to the 'Settings section' under 'Admin'. Select 'Notifications'

2. Select the Servicing tab

3. Select the 'Add Rule' button. From there, enter a name for the service notification rule

4. Define the conditions that must be met for an asset to trigger the service notification.

5. Enter the email address or select a registered contact in the system to receive the notification.

6. Click the 'Save' button

Note: An asset will be included in a service notification report only when all specified conditions in the rule are met

The following conditions are available to customise your service notifications:

  • Next Service Date: Triggers the notification if the asset’s service date is due or overdue by a specific number of days

  • Next Service Reading: Sends the notification only if the service reading (hours/mileage) is due or overdue by a specified amount

  • Asset Tags: Triggers notifications only if the asset with a report has a specific tag assigned

  • Project: Filters notifications based on the project an asset is assigned to at the time of the report
