As you start using the system regularly to track assets maintenance and movements across projects, you might need to update an asset reading to keep track of its current condition and usage.
This helps you stay on top of maintenance, avoid breakdowns, and make sure the asset is working safely and efficiently. Regular updates also give you accurate data for scheduling servicing, tracking wear and tear, and planning replacements before problems arise.
To do so, follow these steps:
1. Go into the 'Assets' section, select the relevant asset
2. Once in the selected asset 'Overview' section, go into the 'Servicing' tab. From there, you can update the Last Service Reading field
3. After updating the asset reading, select the green 'Save' button to save your changes. A message should appear at the top of the screen to confirm the changes have been saved
