You can easily access asset information by scanning the QR code attached to the asset using your phone’s camera. This will open the Gearbelt Operator Web App in your browser - no app download needed.

From there, you’ll be able to:

  • View existing faults that have been recorded for the asset

  • Log new faults on the spot, making it quick and easy to report issues in real time

This process helps keep fault records up to date and ensures issues are captured directly at the source.

To record a new fault, follow these steps:

1. Scan the asset QR code

2. Once directed to the logo page, select 'Press here to continue to Gearbelt'

3. Click the green + button in the bottom right corner

4. Select 'Create fault'

5. From there, you can add all the details related to the new fault. The fault type, severity, description and photo are required. Select 'Save' to finalise your record

Your fault will then be recorded and accessible through the 'Faults' section. Faults will be organised by status (New, Pending, Closed)

When selecting a fault, you'll be able to view all the associated details
