How to record issues via the Gearbelt Operator Web app

You can easily access asset information by scanning the QR code attached to the asset using your phone’s camera. This will open the Gearbelt Operator Web App in your browser - no app download needed.

From there, you’ll be able to:

  • View existing issues that have been recorded for the asset

  • Log new issues on the spot, making it quick and easy to report issues in real time

This process helps keep issue records up to date and ensures issues are captured directly at the source.

To record a new issue, follow these steps:

1. Scan the asset QR code

2. Once directed to the logo page, select 'Press here to continue to Gearbelt'

3. Click the green + button in the bottom right corner

4. Select 'Create issue'

5. From there, you can add all the details related to the new issue. The issue type, severity, description and photo are required. Select 'Save' to finalise your record

Your issue will then be recorded and accessible through the 'Issues' section. Issues will be organised by status (New, Pending, Closed)

When selecting an issue, you'll be able to view all the associated details
