The Action field in Dashpivot allows you to assign and manage tasks directly from within a form - whether it’s a repair, follow-up, or review. Once an action is assigned, the relevant team member is automatically notified, so they know exactly what needs to be done. You’ll also be notified when the task has been completed, making it easy to track progress without chasing things up. This keeps accountability clear and ensures nothing gets missed.

To use the Action field in a form, follow these steps:

1. When filling out a form that contains an Actions Field, click ‘Add Action’

2. Fill in the details for your action and assign it to a user.

Note: you can assign an action to multiple users

3. Scroll down and click 'Sign to approve' to issue the action.

Note: Assignees won’t be notified until you issue the action by clicking ‘Sign to approve’

4. Your action will be created and associated with the form, making it easy to track tasks that originate from specific forms
