You can easily bulk-add information to a pre-filled table in your Dashpivot template by copying and pasting data from a spreadsheet or document into the pre-filled text cells. This is especially helpful for larger templates like Method Statements and ITPs, saving your team time and minimising manual errors during setup.

Dashpivot will automatically expand the table (up to 50 rows and 10 columns) as needed. It will also skip any unsupported cell types and begin pasting your data from the cell you’ve selected, helping streamline the process.

To bulk copy and paste data to your pre-filled table, follow these steps:

  1. Select all the relevant data from your external spreadsheet or document

  2. Right click > Copy or press Ctrl + C (Cmd + C for Mac) to copy it

  3. Click into a cell within your pre-filled table

  4. Right-click > Paste or press Ctrl + V (Cmd + V for Mac) to paste it

Note:

  • You'll need all the relevant cells set to the Pre-filled text format before pasting the data to ensure they populate. If left to Text or any other cell type, they will be skipped and remain blank
