You can now speed up your template building and editing process when adding Yes/No fields by copying and pasting data in bulk from an Excel spreadsheet or document.

To do so, you'll need one Yes/No field set up in your template to start with. Simply copy the questions from your document and past them in the field label of your Yes/No field.

This will:

  • Create the right number of Yes/No fields needed to cover all your questions

  • Auto-populate the field labels and questions

Tip:

  • Set up your Yes/No field settings in the original field:

    • If you need to make the field required, add a Comment box or include the N/A option, ensure to do that in the original field so these setting automatically transfer over to the fields that'll be added when bulk pasting the data

  • Clear formatting in Excel before pasting:

    • If you're copying data from an Excel file, make sure to remove any cell formatting first. Formatting like borders, fonts, and wrapped text can sometimes cause the pasted content to appear incorrectly
