Best practices

  • Setup your Defect template as workflows to clarify and standardise the steps in your defect management process

  • Setup workflow notifications at each step in the workflow to notify the right person at the right time (instantly)

  • Include a photo field so that visual evidence/records can be attached

  • Use list fields where appropriate, to make filtering the register easy (eg. type of defect, package, status), and allow you to identify patterns over time using the analytics chart filters and breakdown options.

  • Include a text field for defect title/description, then in the template builder settings, display this title/description field on the form thumbnail
