How To Edit Photo Fields On Dashpivot Web

Photo fields on Dashpivot Web templates allow form users to capture or upload images directly into a form. These fields are commonly used to record site conditions, defects, progress updates, or visual evidence. Photo fields are added during template editing and completed by users when filling out forms.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Standard (or higher)

  • Permission: Org Controller or Project Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the template you want to edit in the Template Editor.

  2. Locate the Photo field in the field list.

  3. Drag the Photo field into the template.

  4. Click into the field label to update the label text if required.

  5. Hover over the Photo field icon to view available photo size options.

  6. Select a photo size from XS (Extra Small) through to XL (Extra Large).

  7. If using L or XL photo sizes, hover over the option bar to expand the menu.

  8. Select Include Photo Description and Include Photo Tags if required.

Notes and Tips

  • Photo fields allow users to upload photos or videos when completing forms.

  • Media can be captured directly in the Dashpivot app, uploaded from a device, or selected from existing media in the Dashpivot Team folder.

  • Photo size options range from XS (Extra Small) to XL (Extra Large) and control how media is displayed on the form.

  • Photo descriptions and tags are available for L and XL photo sizes.

  • When enabled, photo descriptions and tags appear in forms and are included in exported PDF files.
