This function includes Biostatistics, covering study design consultation, sample size calculations, and the development of the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP). It also includes Data Management, which involves creating the study database (often using Electronic Data Capture or EDC), ensuring data integrity (ALCOA+ compliance), data cleaning, and finalizing the data via Database Lock. Finally, it involves the Statistical Programming and Data Visualization necessary to generate all tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) for final reports.
