The Statistical Value Widget displays key statistical metrics—maximum, minimum, average, and median values—for a selected attribute across the trajectories processed by the operator it is connected to. This widget allows presenting a clear overview of data distribution, helping to identify trends and anomalies within the analyzed traffic flow.
Available Attributes
The Statistical Value Widget supports a range of attributes, allowing you to select the metric that best matches your analysis needs. These include:
Duration of occurrence, measuring how long objects spend within the scene.
Section speed, showing speed data of selected trajectories.
Current speed, displaying the speed of objects at their current moment.
Acceleration, providing acceleration data of selected trajectories.
Stationary duration, measuring how long selected objects remain stationary (zero velocity).
Gap time, representing the time difference between consecutive objects.
Gap distance, showing the spatial distance between consecutive objects.
In FLOW versions up to 1.17, only the following attributes were available: Speed, Acceleration, Stationary time, and Time of Passage.
Visualization
The Time series visualization for the Statistical value widget offers detailed insights by showing how values fluctuate over time.
The chart includes:
The maximum value over time (the upper grey line)
The minimum value over time (the lower grey line)
The average or the median value, depending on your selection in the widget settings (the blue line)
If no data is available for certain sampled moments, gaps may appear in the chart. This reflects moments when the widget did not receive any input data.
