Setting up the active tag solution

There are a few things you need to do before you can use your active tag solution

Before you can use the active tag solution:

  1. The farm owner or manager needs to log in to the Datamars Livestock web app and invite users to their farm.

  2. Every staff member must install the Datamars Livestock Monitoring mobile app on their mobile phone and accept their invitation to join the farm.

  3. The active collar tags or active ear tags can be unpacked. Active collar tags may need to be assembled.

  4. Create animal groups to match herds or mobs on the property.

After this, active tags can be assigned then attached to an animal.
