You can quickly and easily integrate BoviSync with Datamars Livestock

You can quickly and easily integrate BoviSync with Datamars Livestock.

Once BoviSync is integrated, information is shared as detailed below.

BoviSync will send Datamars Livestock:

  • Animal details

  • Lactation data

  • Reproduction data

Note: Data is synchronised every 24 hours, at midnight.

Datamars Livestock will send BoviSync:

  • Details of animals in heat

Note: The time and frequency of synchronisation is set by BoviSync.

Setting up the integration in BoviSync

Note: You must have admin permissions in BoviSync in order to set up the integration.

1. Log in to BoviSync.

2. Click on Setup, Account Management then Team Access.

3. Click on Add Team Permission and enter the Username DATAMARS.

4. Click on Setup, Farm Settings, Data Synch, Add Source.

5. In the dialogue, enter the details below, then click on Add Source:

Name: Datamars API

Type: Activity

Supplier: Datamars Cloud

Bulk tanks: don’t select any option

Client: don’t select any option

6. In the row for Datamars API, click on Edit in the Configure column:

7. Open another browser tab, log in to Datamars Livestock, go to the Farm Settings screen and copy your Farm ID:

8. Go back to BoviSync and paste the Farm ID from Datamars Livestock into the External Farm ID field (Ctrl+V) then click Save.

9. Click on Setup and Copy Farm API ID:

10. Email your BoviSync Farm API ID to sf-support@datamars.com.

The support team will contact you when the integration is complete, then data will flow between the two systems.
