While some reptiles thrive in groups, BERD are typically solitary animals. Housing multiple dragons together can lead to dominance struggles, food competition, and even aggression. Males, in particular, tend to be territorial and may fight if placed in the same enclosure.
The BERD method advises against cohabitation unless for breeding purposes and under expert supervision. If owners do choose to house multiple BERD, they should provide separate basking spots, food sources, and hiding areas to reduce conflicts.
