Guide for setting up iSMP4 terminal: Charge, navigate menus, connect to Wi-Fi, confirm settings. Ready to use!

Plug in the charging cable to charge up the battery for a few hours when you first open the box.

Use the F Keys to navigate through the menus and buttons on the screen.

  • F1 will move left

  • F2 will move downwards

  • F3 will move up

  • F4 will move right

Press the green key to select a menu or button.

Press the red key to go back one menu.

  1. Start by pressing F to display the password box.

  2. Enter the password: CCMerchant.

    1. You can press the number key multiple times to cycle through the characters to reach uppercase letters.

    2. You must enter the password quickly, or it will time out.

  3. Press the green button.

  4. Go to Configuration.

  5. Go to Wi-Fi.

  6. Go to Remove all Networks.

  7. Choose Yes to remove all networks.

  8. Press the red key once to go back.

  9. Go to Configuration.

  10. Go to Wi-Fi.

  11. Go to Scan for Networks.

  12. Select your correct Wi-Fi name. Preferably, use a 5G connection if available.

  13. Enter the password of the Wi-Fi network you are connecting to.

    1. When entering the password, you can choose the menu options on the screen to change what is displayed on the keyboard. Options are #$%, ABC, abc, and 123.

    2. Press the green key to enter a character, the yellow key to erase a character, or the red key to return to the network list.

    3. Alternatively, you can press the keys on the keypad multiple times to sequentially go through the corresponding number or letter that is printed on the key. For example, pressing the 1 key will cycle through the characters 1, q, z, Q, Z.

  14. Select the green button on the screen to confirm the password.

  15. Press the red key three times.

The iSMP4 screen should now display the serial number, Cardpointe Integrated Terminal, and Connected.
