At DaySmart, we’re excited to help your business thrive! If you’re an Independent Contractor looking to easily accept credit card payments separate from the business, we’ve got you covered. At this time, booth renter accounts are only available through CardConnect, allowing you to take payments through the existing card reader at the business or manually.
DaySmart Software allows you to set up multiple merchant accounts. Each Independent Contractor should have their own merchant ID so that credit card payments for their services are deposited directly into their individual bank account.

🛠️Add Merchant ID (MID) to the Employee Account

Select Employees
Click on the employee this MID was created for.
Select Employment Setup at the top right
Scroll down to Booth Renter and choose Yes.
Click the Save button in the bottom right.

Scroll down to Booth Renter and enable it
Enable Use Individual Credit Card Account
