Transition to Live

At DayTraders, progression to live trading is based on performance.

  • Traders may be transitioned to a live account at any time based on performance and risk evaluation

  • Performance and consistency are continuously reviewed by the Risk Team

  • There is no guaranteed promotion. Consistency and rule adherence are required

  • We currently transition around 1% of traders that come through the sim funded program

When can I be moved to a live account?

There is no fixed requirement or milestone to qualify for a live account.

Your trading performance, consistency, risk management, and overall behavior are continuously evaluated. Traders may be selected for live allocation at any time based on these factors.

Live Transition Payout Rule

If you are moved to live during a payout and your total payouts exceed $10,000:

  • 50% of the payout will be sent to your payout method

  • 50% will be allocated to your live account

Specific account parameters will be discussed with a Risk Manager.

At minimum, 50% of your payout will be your MLL in live.

What happens if my country does not allow live trading?

If you are offered a live account but your country restricts live trading, your Risk Manager will discuss alternative options with you.

Can I continue trading my Pro Accounts after being moved to Live?

No. Once you are transitioned to the Live Program, you will no longer be able to continue trading your Pro Accounts simultaneously.

How is the minimum balance calculated for a live account?

Live account parameters, including minimum balance requirements, will be discussed directly with your Risk Manager based on your trading profile.

For more information please see this FAQ about Live Account Options.

What if I have multiple Pro Accounts?

If you have multiple Pro Accounts, the Risk Team will evaluate your overall performance and determine the best structure for your transition to live trading.

This may include consolidating accounts or structuring your live allocation based on your performance.
