How to Create a Combination Statistic

Creating a Combination Statistic in DDS Dashboard

Step 1: Access the Statistics Tab

  • Navigate to the Statistics tab located in the left-hand column of DDS Dashboard.

  • Look for the plus sign at the top left of the screen.

Step 2: Create a New Combination Statistic

  • Click on the plus sign to open the options menu.

  • Select 'Combination Statistic' from the options.

Step 3: Name and Describe Your Statistic

  • Enter a name for your new statistic.

  • Optionally, add a description to provide more context.

Step 4: Choose Data Type

  • Select the data type for your statistic: numeric, currency, or percentage.

Step 5: Set Decimal Places

  • If you want to display decimal values, choose the number of decimal places from the dropdown menu.

Step 6: Ensure Same Scale for Combined Stats

  • If combining statistics of the same type, check the box labeled 'Show Statistics on the same scale'.

Step 7: Select Statistics to Include

  • Choose the specific statistics you want to combine in your graph.

Step 8: Customize Trendline Colors

  • Click on the color circles next to each statistic to customize the trendline colors.

Step 9: Assign to a Post

  • Assign the combination statistic to a specific post.

Step 10: Save Your Combination Statistic

  • Review all settings and selections.

  • Click 'Save' to create your combination statistic.

Step 11: Completion

  • Your combination statistic is now created and ready for use.
