Leveraging deskit as the dealership’s primary inventory source, the tool ensures that accurate and consistent information is syndicated efficiently to automotive marketplaces, classified listings, and digital retailing solutions.
Dashboard
The dashboard offers a consolidated view of all third-party endpoints currently receiving your deskit inventory syndication. Multiple syndication destinations can be configured to suit your distribution strategy.
Note: Syndication endpoints are established during the initial setup process. For any modifications or updates, please contact deskit Support.
Rules
Configure dynamic, rule-based pricing logic to ensure accurate and consistent pricing is syndicated across all dealership websites and third-party platforms. These rules can be customized based on vehicle attributes (e.g., make, model, mileage, location), promotional campaigns, or platform-specific requirements. By automating pricing adjustments at the source, dealerships can maintain consistency, reduce manual errors, and align pricing strategies with market conditions across their entire digital presence.
How to create an inventory rule
Click:
RULE: Enter rule name, (start & end date are optional)
SEARCH: From each dropdown menu, Select

Add Selling Price Adjustment: % or $ discount
Add OEM Incentive: Populate deskit incentive engine information (rates, rebates)
Expand vehicle to see OEM incentive details
Add Dealer Incentive: Dealer promotions, discounts etc
Add Comment: Additional vehicle description or promotions
Click SAVE to create rule
Click Refresh to view ACTIONS before saving or updating your rule

Overlays
The image overlay feature allows dealerships to apply custom visual elements—such as branding, pricing badges, promotional tags, or compliance marks—directly onto vehicle images prior to syndication. This ensures consistent visual presentation across all third-party platforms, enhances brand visibility, and improves consumer engagement.
Click + Add Overlay, locate on file on your computer and upload

Select Overlay position & which photo(s) to apply
Camera Images
Setup / edit syncit image categories (deskit dealership admins only)
Select desired categories & arrange in default order of pictures taken.
Same category can be added multiple times.
From your mobile devices web browser (iPhone or Android) log into deskit.
Navigate to syncit tab, Camera/Images icon
Scan VIN, Search VIN or Search Stock - if vehicle is not in stock, but you would like to take photo(s)
Reports
Once a pricing rule has been configured, navigate to the Reports tab and select Sync All. This action generates a preview of the inventory file, allowing you to review the data before initiating syndication to any third-party platforms.
Note: Inventory files are automatically syndicated at 3:00 AM and 3:00 PM EST daily.
