Add + admin users: two minute how-to video

Setting up users + assign permissions

Step 1: Click signup

Step 2: Fill in fields (do not use smart fill – shows in yellow)

Step 3: Log into deskit using dealerships admin account
Step 4: Click on name & navigate to dealership (if part of a dealer group)

Step 5: Click Setup, Users

Step 6: Click on username, assign permissions & save

Accounting - Recommended
Accounting – Allows user to access bookit in deskit
Controller - User can access Commission Reports from Home Page and if Management is enabled user can reverse closed deals

Sales Person - Recommended
CRM - user can see Customer Ledger

Full Desking - User will see deal sheet (do not turn on for MENU customer)

eContract - user can see eContract icon and all available forms for that dealership

My Work Only -RESTRICTION- CAN ONLY VEIW/EDIT current user's deals. NO cost or gross

Sales Managers - Recommended
Appraisal – Allows user to access vAuto Integration

CarFax Ordering - User can order CarFax through deskit - charges to dealership will apply

Management - enables deal history, integration buttons,

Inventory Managers - Recommended
Inventory Management - User able to view and modify cost/add and remove units.

Cloud Storage - User can upload syndication pictures and invoice (invoice upload allowed only if Management enabled)

F&I Managers - Recommended
Menu (Multi Column) - User sees Multi Column Menu

Menu (One Column) - User sees Single Column Menu

Dealership deskit Admin - Required - Must contact Support to have assigned
UserAdmin - Ability to activate and change permissions on accounts

Digital Retail - Required - Must contact Support to have assigned
Lead - Ability to see Lead tab for inside out digital retail

Permission Restrictions

BOS -RESTRICTION- CAN ONLY VIEW deals. NO permissions to create/edit deal, except VPP Terms and Cashdown (*Not combine with Inventory Management)

Inventory -RESTRICTION- CAN ONLY VIEW vehicles (also cost). No permissions to edit vehicle details.

Permissions - Unique
Group Report - ability for user to see reports for entire group

Inventory Read Only - user unable to edit vehicle but they can see cost

Note: Remove all inventory roles in order to show no cost and no ability to edit
