deskit | First Canadian (FCIC) Integration Information Guide

When deal is completed in deskit and user is ready to send deal information FCIC, below are the steps to follow:

1. Click FCIC button in lower right-hand tray in deskit (alongside other integration buttons)

2. User will be prompted for FCIC login information, only if user does not have portal open. If user has portal open, they will need to refresh their screen in order to see deskit deal in portal.

3. Click on iCerts icon and locate deal via deskit deal number, stock number or customer name

4. User can select what FCIC product is sold & generate certificate(s)

**IMPORTANT**

All deal information transfers to FCIC portal - except for any FCIC products sold on deal. Those are still required to be added within iCerts portal. User simply needs to generate certificate and verify premiums match between both systems.

Notes:

· If deal is transferred multiple times, FCIC iCerts portal will update original deal

· If contract has been finalized in FCIC iCerts portal, deskit will be unable to update deal

· A dealership will always use the Rate Table applicable in the dealer’s province regardless of where their customer resides or which tax province, they’ve selected

FAQ’s

Q: It doesn’t let user login, but it still goes through

A: This is by design.

If user clicks FCIC icon, this will trigger FCIC login page to display in separate browser window.

If user is already logged into FCIC portal, user will simply have to click refresh icon on FCIC portal to see transferred deal.
