There are two ways to initiate vAuto integration with-in deskit. The screen above shows the vAuto integration button, which resides in the lower right-hand side with the other various integration icons.
1. In the deal worksheet, the user opens the trade-in vehicle and clicks the vAuto icon
2. In the deskit inventory worksheet, the user opens the used vehicle and clicks on the vAuto icon
vAuto will open in a new window and enable the user to do a new appraisal, without leaving deskit, or changing tabs
vAuto will show appraisal based on VIN (not a stock number) and deskit shows all dealership appraisal history on the vehicle (based on VIN)
The values shown in the deskit vAuto popup are as follows:
deskit value = Appraised Value
deskit cost = Reconditioning + Certification (not OTHER as it's not provided in the integration)
If clicking on the vAuto icon reveals no prior appraisals, then the user has the option to create one, directly from deskit
Note: For the appraisal integration, remember to get your User Admin to update the vAuto mapping with your vAuto user name.
