Video will explain how to locate, quote & sell inventory from another rooftop in your dealer group.
Dealer A
-From inventory tab, search your groups rooftop for vehicle of interest
(EG from Hickman Nissan Gander search all rooftops to locate vehicle in Hickman Honda
-Click "Create New deal icon" from inventory tab
-Enter customer name and save deal
-Notice (Locate in-stock) label after stock # on vehicle of interest
-Update deal status to SOLD
Notice Locate vehicle updates to sold status.
*do not click convert button until vehicle has been transferred to your rooftops DMS*
-Sold status will update the physical vehicle in other dealers inventory.
*If you unwind deal change deal back to quoting, vehicle status will update to in-stock.
Dealer B
-Create a deal (dealer trade) to have record of dealer transfer.
-You will need to update inventory status to "in-stock" before you can update your deal to sold status
-Update Sales Type to DealerTrade
Dealer A
-After vehicle has been stocked into Dealer A DMS, reopen deal and click on the Convert button. (Convert will replace the Locate vehicle with actual stock# of vehicle transferred from Dealer B
If vehicle price & VIN match, stock# of newly transferred unit will display in deal. Simply click check mark to save deal
