Everything you need to know about how to use TricorConnect (need audio) Watch time 22 mins


Home Page: Reporting

-Click on home page and desired date range.

-Select “Sales Summary” and view your deal log.

-Click deal# to view your past menus or export deal log to excel or print.

-Click F&I to view your real time F&I gross.

Inventory Page: Adding Inventory

-Click on Inventory Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Click on "Add Vehicle"

-Select Type

-Enter Stock#

*optional field* In-Service Date (necessary for F&I contract generation)

-Enter VIN (hit Tab for VIN automatic VIN explosion

*optional field* Odometer (necessary for F&I contract generation)

*optional field* Exterior & Interior color

-Save (green checkmark bottom right)

Customer Page: Add/Edit a customer

-Click on Customer Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Select New Customer

Enter First Name & Last Name (required fields).

*Optional Field*, Date of Birth, Address, email and phone#.

Deals Page: Editing your F&I products

Verify edit product wording before adding to your menu templates

-Click on Deals Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Click on Deal Options

-Click on Category Name to expose product offering

-Click on product name to edit.

-Any edits below will only effect any "newly" created menu templates.

-There are 3 bullet points for product information.

-if applicable product cost for TricorConnect 3rd party providers integrations (Finalcoat, SAL, etc)

Deals Page: Creating Menu Templates

How to create a four column menu template

-Click on Deals Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Click on Deal Options

-Click on + (Plus Sign) beside Menu Templates

-Enter a Menu Template Name

*Optional* Change column name & or delete a column.

*NEVER delete the first column on left.

-Add your desired products by clicking on product category and clicking on product name (check mark beside product name indicates product has been loaded into your menu)

-Minimize sidebar and hover over product name and click X to remove.

-Once you menu is setup, click checkmark to save template.

How to create a three column menu template

*Applicable to lease customers & there are not enough products for traditional four column menu

-Click on Deals Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Click on Deal Options

-Click on + (Plus Sign) beside Menu Templates

-Enter a Menu Template Name

-Delete column on righthand side of page.

-Add your desired products by clicking on product category and clicking on product name (check mark beside product name indicates product has been loaded into your menu)

-Minimize sidebar and hover over product name and click X to remove.

How to create a step sell menu template

-Click on Deals Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Click on Deal Options

-Click on + (Plus Sign) beside Menu Templates

-Enter a Menu Template Name

-Delete column on righthand side of page.

-Add your products from sidebar

-click save

Deal Page: How to create a deal

-Click on Deals Tab

-Click on + sign to display sidebar menu

-Click on Deal Options

- Type Frist Name (click tab)

- Type Last Name

- If customer is already in system, their name will display in dropdown

- Click on their full name, which will add them to deal page

- If you have already stocked in vehicle, enter stock# on vehicle line

-When stock# is found, click on vehicle details in dropdown to add to deal

-Both Customer & Vehicle will be blue

-Lower right hand corner of screen will display either "BUYER INVALID" or "VEHICLE INVALID" message if done incorrectly

-Entered correctly customer and vehicle will display in blue

-Select Deal Type

-Enter Term / APR

- Enter DMS payment (total payment including tax)

-Click ">" icon to expand sidebar & add your desired menu template

-Click ">" to minimize sidebar

-Click green checkmark to save your menu

Deal Page: Modifying menu payment details

- Click on Financial Inst and click on Trashcan to remove lender

-Click on line beside Financial Inst and select a lender from preset dealer options

**Important for accurate reporting**

-Click on Add Sales button and select Sales Rep & FI Manager for accurate reporting

**Important for accurate reporting**

-Remove 2nd Finance Term by entering a 0.

Best practice if turnover is bi-weekly and max term, 2nd payment option does not apply in this scenario

Best practice, Update 2nd Finance Term to bi-weekly when deal is desked as monthly

-Added Cash Down option, this will decrease customer payment.

Enter a value and click Tab or click on any whitespace for menu to auto calculate new payment

Deal Page: Adding product to menu from sidebar

-Click sidecar to add any product not currently in your prebuilt menu templates

-Click on product name to add to all payment options.

OR

-Drag/Drop into payment option.

**Dragging to far left will populate product across all payment options**

-Click Greencheck mark at bottom right to save updated presentation

-Hover mouse over product

-Click X to remove product

Click on product name to MOVE product from one column to another

Deal Page: Cap Summary (deal washout)

-Enter a delivery date

-Enter FSM and sales rep

-Click on Cap Sum icon

-Validate your cost is accurate

-Enter your Financial reserve (if applicable)

-Validate your gross and save Cap Sum

-Click Save

Deal Page: Menu tool bar icon overview

Icon: Price Warning
Back to Table of contents

-If a product on your menu does not have a retail price, "!" price warning message will be displayed

-Click on padlock to expose product premiums

-Click on 0.00 to expose product price window

-Enter desired price

-Click checkmark

*You will need to modify price in all menu columns one at a time

-Click "!" icon to hide price warning message

Icons: Presentation Mode & Padlock

-You can also click on any premium price and adjust product price per column

-Click "eyesight" icon to toggle your menu into presentation mode

**This will hide/display customer & deal information, allowing more screen room for your digital presentation

Icon: Digital Media & Hide 2nd Payment

-Click on media icon to display any POS material loaded into your system

-Click on media icon beside product to open POS.

-Click on "Payments" icon to remove 2nd term on your menu presentation

-Click "Gear" icon

-Hide FIMenu Details *not shown in screenshot below* (this will hide how deal was desked on your paper menu printout

-Hide Payment (this will hide your menu option payments, allowing you to complete menu presentation without customer focusing on payment bumps)

-Click print icon for paper menu presentation

Icon: Email & Digital Signature

-Click email icon to email menu presentation to customer.

**great for phone/remove turnovers**

**Best practice, have customer on phone, then email and review payment options**

Icon: Deal Waiver

-Click payment that customer has agreed on

-Click Green checkmark

-Click on Waiver "scales of justice" icon

-Waiver displays products accepted + declined with daily premium amount.
(we do not show daily on credit life or A&H since this is based on amount financed)

-Have customer sign and date @ bottom of page.

Contract Page: Generating F&I & Insurance contracts

-Enter vehicle in-service date

-Update deal status to SOLD

-Enter a delivery date, and click Green checkmark to save

-Click on product name to review details

-Click on green check mark to save

-Click on "Create" to register product and generate certificate.

-Click on "Print" to print contract
