Email Notifications:

Email notifications play a vital role in keeping you updated on important events within DearDoc Dashboard. The following events trigger email notifications:

  • AI Chat Appointment Requests

  • AI Chat-Specific Questions

  • AI Chat General Inquiry

  • Conversation Replies

Desktop Notifications:

DearDoc Dashboard provides desktop notifications, ensuring real-time updates on various events. The following events trigger desktop notifications:

  • AI Chat Appointment Requests

  • AI Chat-Specific Questions

  • AI Chat General Inquiry

  • Conversation Replies

  • New Task Assigned

SMS Notifications:

For users who prefer mobile notifications, DearDoc Dashboard offers SMS notifications. You will receive SMS notifications for the following events:

  • AI Chat Appointment Requests

  • AI Chat-Specific Questions

  • AI Chat General Inquiry

  • Conversation Replies

AI Autodialer Communications/Notifications:

DearDoc Dashboard goes a step further by introducing the AI autodialer feature, which automates and optimizes phone-based communications with patients. The AI autodialer communicates with patients through phone calls, emails, and texts based on predefined rules and triggers. The following communication types are supported by the AI autodialer:

Day 1:

  • Appointment Request: Phone Call, Email, Text

  • Promotion/Offer: Phone Call, Email, Text

  • Specific Question: Phone Call, Text, Email

Day Two (24 hours after):

  • Appointment Request: Phone Call, Email, Text

  • Promotion/Offer: Phone Call, Email, Text

  • Specific Question: Email, Text, User Task - Desktop Notification

Day Three (48 hours after the first interaction):

  • Appointment Request: Email, Text

  • Promotion/Offer: Email, Text

*Automated Communication will stop if there's no connection between Practice and Patient, or at the end of the 3-day notification period.

Opt-in and Opt-out Preferences:

DearDoc Dashboard provides opt-in and opt-out preferences for SMS and email communications. Users can contact the Support team through the Dashboard's Live Messenger to opt-in or opt-out of SMS notifications. For email notifications, new users can select the "Would you like this user to receive New Lead notification emails?" option during the user creation process. Existing users can message the support team through the Dashboard's Live Messenger to modify their email notification preferences.


Frequently Asked Questions

1. I am not receiving notifications for new leads.

If you're not receiving notifications for new leads, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please reach out to our dedicated support team, and we'll promptly address the issue. Our support team can assist in adding your email as a recipient for lead notifications or investigate any potential issues that might be affecting the delivery of notifications.

2. Can I receive text notifications instead of emails when there's a new lead?

Yes. You can opt to receive SMS notifications and/or email notifications. Let our Support Team know about it.

3. How long does it take to receive an email or text when there's a new lead?

It may take 1 to 3 minutes max to receive emails, whilst SMS should be immediate.

4. I'm using Yahoo and am not receiving email notifications. Why?

We've found that multiple Yahoo domains reject these emails. We encourage the use of other domains such as Google. Contact our Support Team to run a further analysis of these emails.
