To set up 2FA for your DEBT account, please follow the steps below:

Using a Computer and your mobile phone

Login to your account

Click on your name in the top right corner, then select Preferences, and click “ENABLE TWO-FACTOR AUTH”

Next, on your mobile device, you need to download an authenticator app. Popular options include: Google Authenticator or Authy.

Once the authentication app has been installed, open the app and create an account.

In the Authentication app, select the feature that allows you to create a new connection or add an account. In Authy this looks like “+ Add Account”

You will be given the option to scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen, or enter the key manually. The easiest method is to scan the code, however, if this does not work for you, please enter the code provided on your computer screen.

Once this has been entered, your authentication app will provide you with a 6 digit code.

Return to your computer and enter the code provided. You will have a limited amount of time to enter the code, it is best to be ready and wait for it to reset. The Authenticate button will become active once you have entered the 6 digit code.

Once you enter the code, the connection will be confirmed on your computer. You will see the “Success Authenticated!” message in the top right corner and the button will change to “Disable Two-Factor Auth.”

With 2FA enabled, you will be able to perform all of the transactions in your D.E.B.T. account.
