Why add a product recommendation section?
The Product recommendation section displays an automatically-generated view of recommended products on the product page of your Shopify store. It is one of the page sections you can add to enhance the shopping experience.
This makes it easier for customers to discover new products, which can increase sales. A great alternative to relying on customers using the search feature or collection filters.
How to Add Product Recommendations
STEP 1
In Shopify admin, click on Online store.
STEP 2
Select your Debutify Shopify theme and click Customize.
STEP 3
Open the drop-down menu at the top of the page and select the Products page.
STEP 4
From the Product page, click on Product recommendations.
STEP 5
Check Show dynamic recommendations so there is a variety and recommendations can improve over time, helping you to sell more.
Heading - displays a title above the recommended products.
Subheading - displays the text under the section heading.
Section style - choose a blank, accent, or border-top background.
Product recommendations can be displayed as a single row (on desktop)/ list (on mobile) or as a grid.
Select the number of rows (select 1 to show a single row/list) and the number of products per row to show on either desktop or mobile.
Carousel options animate the section.
STEP 6
Click Save to apply the changes.
