🧾 What is Decaf’s virtual IBAN?
When you create your virtual IBAN account in Decaf, we automatically generate a IBAN ((International Bank Account Number). This IBAN can be used for payments within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). You — or anyone else — can send a EUR transfer from another bank, just like paying any regular account.
But here’s the good part: when the deposit is made in EUR, you receive digital dollars directly in your Decaf Wallet.
💸 Step by step: how to convert your EUR into USDC
Open your Decaf Wallet and go to the "Add" section.
Select the "European Bank" option.
Copy the virtual IBAN that appears — this is your personal account to receive Euros.
From your banking app or online banking, make a regular IBAN transfer:
To the IBAN you copied
In the name of the Account Name shown in Decaf
For the amount you want to deposit
💡 You can also share this IBAN with others so they can send money to you directly from their bank accounts in Europe.
5. In just a few minutes, you'll receive the equivalent amount in USDC in your Decaf Wallet.
💡 These transfers are processed via ACH cycles. Withdrawals made on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Transaction limits
Limits depend on whether you’re depositing from your own account or receiving funds from someone else.

⚠️ Note that there may be certain volumes/frequencies that trigger our AML alerts and may require review of the payment.
Exchange rate
In the app you will be provided with a live exchange rate, which already includes the fees of the deposits.
⚠️ Please note: the rate displayed in the app is for reference only. The final exchange rate will be confirmed after your deposit is completed, as there may be slight changes due to delays in the banking system.
